Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 26, 2026

Arizonans Against Fascism ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website at arizonansforfascism.com (the "Site"). We are a politically engaged public education project dedicated to documenting and exposing fascist legislation and political actors in Arizona. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit the contact form, suggest a bill, or report an issue, we collect the information you enter β€” such as your name, email address, zip code, and the content of your message. This information is collected solely to respond to your inquiry or process your submission.

Account information. If you log in via Google through our authentication provider (Cloudflare Access), we receive your Google account email address. We do not receive your Google password, payment information, or any other sensitive account data. Your email is used only to verify your identity and, if applicable, to determine whether you have admin access to this site.

Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) and our API infrastructure (Cloudflare) automatically log standard server data: IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security, debugging, and aggregate traffic analysis. We do not sell or share this data with advertisers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

3. Authentication & Login

Login functionality on this Site is provided via Cloudflare Access with Google as the identity provider. When you log in, you are redirected to Google's authentication service. We never see or store your Google password. Upon successful authentication, Cloudflare passes your verified email address to our servers so we can determine your access level. Your login session is managed by Cloudflare Access cookies, which expire when your browser session ends or after a set period of inactivity.

You may log out at any time by clearing your browser cookies or visiting /cdn-cgi/access/logout. To revoke our application's access to your Google account, visit your Google Account permissions page.

4. Data Storage & Security

Form submissions, bill data, and site content are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database hosted within Cloudflare's infrastructure. Access to this database is restricted to authorized administrators and the site's backend API. We use HTTPS on all connections to protect data in transit. We do not store payment information of any kind β€” this site does not process payments.

No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

5. Cookies

This Site uses a minimal number of cookies:

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioral tracking platforms.

6. Third-Party Services

This Site relies on a small number of third-party infrastructure providers:

We do not embed social media widgets, advertising networks, or any other tracking technologies from third parties.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the form on this site. We will respond within 30 days. Because we collect minimal personal data, most requests can be fulfilled promptly.

8. Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. First Amendment & Political Speech Notice

Arizonans Against Fascism is a political public education project. All content on this site β€” including commentary, analysis, and satire β€” is protected speech under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Criticism of public officials and their legislative records is a cornerstone of democratic society. Nothing on this site is intended as defamatory, and all factual claims are based on publicly available records, official legislative documents, and verified news sources.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Contact Us
